Legit Shops to buy your Lightsticks and other KPOP merch

, on

Concerts and fanmeets are being announced left and right and as exciting it may seem, it's also an opportunity for scammers.  I still remember being new to the ELF Fandom (Super Junior Fandom) and was too excited to purchase my first merch that I actually got scammed by this shop I saw on Facebook Marketplace.  Right before the Super Show 8 in Manila leg too,  a lot of other ELFs who were trying to secure a lightstick before the concert were scammed and it was a really long discussion of how to track down the scammers in the facebook fan groups.

To help out fan girls likes me, specially new fans, here's a list of my TRIED and TESTED shops you can get your K merch from!

Shop Beyond Border

I have tried about online 2 shops prior to SBB.  One of which was where I got scammed.  I found out about SBB after Super Show 8 and it was recommended by a few ELFs to me.  I remember my pre-orders from this shop actually needing an excel file just to track everything.  The sell almost everything that you want to get your hands on from Korea.  Most of the K-related stuff I have (albums, clothes, skin care) are from this shop.  They also have one of the bests payment schemes I've encountered.

I came across this shop when I was desperately trying to find a shop that specializes in CNBLUE merch.  I posted on a PH Based CNBLUE Facebook group asking where they buy their merch and this shop came highly recommended.  Apart from CNBLUE merch and other k-artists, they also accept pasabuys from some fashion korean sites.

Adella O K-Shop is one of the first few shops I ever got to deal with.  They sell brand new k-merch from Korea, but they also sell a lot of unsealed k-merch and with complete inclusions most of the time! I got most of my hard to find Japan and Korea Super Junior D&E albums from them.

When I was still about a month into KPOP, I had a colleague who has been a ONCE (Twice Fandom) for a long time.  Tamina was his first recommendation when I asked where I could buy.  They also have a physical store Manila.

BONUS:

A kpop fan knows how it's sometimes a challenge to secure Japan merch and most times it's the Japan merch that you really want to have in your collection.  After months of finding a shop that caters to Japan pasabuys, I found J Stuff Pasabuy on twitter!  I finally got a hold of those rare CNBLUE albums and THE RAMPAGE stuff because of this shop!

Other than actual shops, you can also follow official fan groups who does a lot of Country Group Orders (GO's) --- A lot of orders via these fan groups may take a while longer, but at least you are a bit more assured because just like you, they're fan girls too.  BUT still, remember that when you are buying your merch (specially if it's a pre-order) ALWAYS research if the shop/person is credible. Ask for feedbacks! Feel free to ask your fandom for some help and legit checking too! Nothing like a fan girls helping out each other!
