Treasure to continue as a 10-membered group

In July 2022, YG Entertainment announced that Kpop Group Treasure's Bang Yedam and Mashino will be taking a temporary hiatus and that the group will continue promoting as 10 members. 

Hello, this is YG Entertainment. 

We would like to make a brief announcement on TREASURE’s future activities for this year to TREASURE MAKERS who have shown nothing but great support for TREASURE. 

TREASURE has been conducting activities as a 10-member group due to personal and health reasons, and it has been decided that the group will continue to do so until their comeback this summer and concert tour scheduled until the end of year. 

Although we are facing internal difficulties and we understand how fans are upset, the remaining 10 members are exerting all-out efforts for their upcoming activities not to make fans feel the absence of the other two members.

TREASURE, who sees their 2nd debut anniversary this August, will come meet fans with greater music and maturity as a group. 

We ask for great support and encouragement from TREASURE MAKERS for TREASURE who will be active as a 10-member group including CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN.

First of all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the TREASURE MAKERS for all the support and love towards TREASURE. Today, we have an important announcement about TREASURE's future activities. 

Going forward, TREASURE transforms into a 10-member group - consisting of Choi Hyun suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong woo, and So Jung hwan. After a long and careful discussion with Mashiho and Bang Ye dam was mutually agreed to conclude the contracts between the two and YG Entertainment. 

We have reached such agreement so that Mashiho could have enough time to recover from his health condition, and Bang Ye dam could pursue his career as a producer.

Knowing that all of TREASURE’s fans have been waiting for Mashiho and Bang Ye dam, we are very sad about their departure as they have been with TREASURE from the beginning. We ask for your continuing support for Mashiho and Bang Ye dam.
